Opel mileage correction,Opcom or Digiprog 3?

How to  change km via OBD for Opel cars?

Here is the Carl Barte use use Opcom firmware v1.45 change opel cars mileage feedbcak 

           

I just posted what Carl Barter did with his Opcom.

But i think it’s better to not try to modify km with op com because i try in a Agila and dash shows 000000, and i remove dashboard for repair.

Someone told me that Agila has nec processor,not possible diag with opscom but some mileage machines can do it. Probably!

But to change km to Opel, i prefer Digiprog 3 now. I did it on most Opel cars, almost without issues.

Read and out new mileage in. When press tick, hold trip button and ofometer will flash. When digi says check value, release button and disconnect battery for 10sec; Job done

Tacho Universal V2008.01 Update& Repair Kit User Manual

Tacho Universal 2008.01 Update & Repair kit is for Tacho Pro U2008 odometer correction tool is a magical tool，Tacho Universal V2008.01 Update& Repair Kit can repair the following troubles: Screen display: Diga update and RESET, No display after powered on, No vehicle list, screen display black strip, Frequently Halting. Screen display both the following: update handheld and the machine cannot read EEPROM.

How to use it ?here is the user manual for Tacho Universal 2008.01 Update & Repair kit.

1 Package contains:

2 Repair TACHO Universal Hand-Held Device

2.2 Solution

2.2.1Replace IC111 and IC112 as shown in the figure

  

2.2.2 Replace AT24C02 as shown in the figure.

2.2.3 Replace 74HC541

 

3 Update TACHO Universal Hand-Held Device

Remove the 8 screws, open the up cover, unplug the keyboard cable connector, and then remove the up cover as shown in the figure:

 

Remove the CPU BOARD :

 

Remove IC111 and IC112 :

  

Remove AT24C02 :

 

Remove PIC12F629:

Install IC111 and IC112. Make sure the install direction is correct. See the figure:

  

Install AT24C02. Make sure the install direction is correct:

 

On your board, if there are not components in position 1 and 2, please remove component in position3. and then fix PIC12F629 onto the position on 1. fix OSC on the proper position in 2:

 

Install CPU BOARD. Make sure install it in correct direction:

Install the up cover and then the 8 screws:

 

4 Update methods:

Step 1. Remove the CPU BOARD from TACHOPRO i.e. the principal machine

 

Step 2. Find the location of IC111& IC112 and replace the previous IC on CPU BOARD with the IC111&IC112 of Update Kit. Make sure the IC is properly located with correct direction

Step 3. Find AT24C02 on CPU BOARD. Remove the previous IC by using electric iron and then place AT24C02 on the corresponding location to guarantee the direction of IC. See picture 3A, 3B

 

Note: pay attention to CPU BOARD in picture 3A. First of all, the IC socket should be taken out from AT24C02 and then weld AT20C02 to the specified position in picture 3B.

Q:how about peugeot 307 - 2001 model ?

A:For Peugeot 307, it only work models after 2005, cannot work before 2005.

Q:for the mileage, i only need to program the data on bsi psa, what about others?

A:This one is used for program the mileage on BSI PSA. After you program the data on it, remember to program the data on odometer. So that mileage data keep the same in this two place.

Q:psa bsi tool only can program the km in bsi, what about dashboard?

A:Yes. This one only can change the odometer on BSI. If you want to change the odometer in dashboard, please choose digiprog 3 or digimaster 3.

Q:when i use this PSA BSI tool to change the mileage of my car, do i must remove the BSI??

A:No. You do not need to remove the BSI. There are two side for this tool, one side connect the computer, one side directly connect with the car.

Q:can you tell me what year of citroen this one can work with?

A:This product can work with Citroen from 2005 to 2011.

Q：does this work for 308 2013? it reads km but does not write. do you need to disconnect speedo?

Q:PSA BSI TOOL km correction is a mileage correction tool and also support to work BSI but i don't understand if i can adjust the mileage directly and it will change the mileage as i wish?

A:You need to adjust the dashborad first by your side and the value will be a little error,not exzactly the number you adjust the mileage,please kindly note,thank you!

Q:Does it work on a Magneti Marelli of a Lancia Phedra, Maserati Gran Turismo S? On other websites they say yes but I'm not sure!

A:It can only work on Peugeot and Citroean

Q:I suppose, when the NEW mileage is stored in the BSI, how do I change the OLD mileage in the odometer because if we reconnect the odometer at the end of the process, the NEW mileage stored in the BSI will always be replaced by the OLD mileage from the odometer!!!
Isn't it?

A:Yes, when you the NEW mileage stored in the BSI, you can not change old mileage any more.
Because the old OLD mileage replaced by NEW mileage.

Q:hello i use olso digiprog when i change mile age with digi can i change mile from bsi with this thing ?

A:yes, you can change mile from BSI with this tool.
But you should know Peugeot and Citroen KM odometer PSA BSI tool can only change mile in BSI.
