Best Mileage Correction Programmer For Mercedes W212

One issue from Customer :

I want to correct mileage on my W212 2013 year. Is only way to use MB CAN Filter?

 I found some tutorial in carprog but doesn’t show steps with the mileage adjust. For example, if install mb can filter, do you still update ezs odometer value or just cluster? Yes I know AVDI Abrites original does it all, before you tell me, but can’t afford that software yet.

Anywhere else have to change it? Tire pressure sensors of transmission?

solutions:

1.Late 2013 Mercedes W212 you need to correct odometer and install CAN Filter (EZS nothing).The can filter goes near the cluster. I have done with Yanhua Digimaster 3. It is not cheap. But I think at you can use digiprog 3. By the way, take backup from eeprom first.

2. If it is full color dashboard, digiprog 3 cant do it..

If it’s not facelift model (so before 2013) and use digiprog 3 v4.94, then you don’t need can filter/blocker. But a can blocker is better to use all times, because if dealer reads the EZS it shows same mileage as in tacho, if you dont use can blocker then EZS shows 999999km.. (but normally dealers don’t read EZS, they only read ‘assyst manager’ when serviced).

To change mileage you need to use option ‘EZS’ in menu of mercedes w212 of digiprog III.. then it blocks ezs and changes tacho automatically.

If you roll back odometer to a lower mileage off last service, its best to delete service history in car. use option ‘assyst manager’. enter ‘744’ days and ‘25000’kms for next service warning, and press ‘V’ when it asks to delete service history.

When you have a diesel it probably gives DPF error in car. and the car will run in emergency-mode, only drives max 80kmh. digiprog can’t reset this. You have to go to dealer or someone else who can reset dpf.

When some other errors turn up in display use the ‘clr error’ option to reset.

I done a Ferrari California with Digi 2min obd

I did a Ferrari 458 with digiprog. the mileage in ferrari cluster is a very easy system. The tools only needs to read the eeprom, we know digiprog can do this witg other cars without problem, so if it reads the correct mileage then i dont see much risk.
(And it is a clone, but the software is same as original tool)
But the mileage is also in the ecu of ferrari.

Can read eeprom 95320 (gateway of Audi A6 C6) by Digiprog 4.94 clone by clips SOIC8?
and save to *.bin file.

- Can correct opel astra g 2011, Astra g is 93c56 (2001), Astra h is 35080 (2007), Astra J is in Bsi (2011) , all work with digi prog fine

- change the mileage of a mercedes clc 2009, Digiprog is possibe.

- Question: Can I connect to pc to transfer eeprom data from and to digiprog?

Answer: if you FTDI chip inside, you can, if you don't have ftdi chip you can't connect to PC

Part 2: Digiprog 3 V4.94 mileage correction feedback in 2016 year:

1. Mercedes W251 R350 2010 ok OBD

no sync problems no can filter needed

2. Digiprog do all Golf 4 without problem!!!  Golf 4 BOO via OBD OK

3. BMW X1 2013 - no bmw after 2002 can go by obd, you have to program the 35160 chip in cluster and the cas4 (or fem?) module.

or cluster + can filter cable behind cluster to block cas. but digiprog can't program 35160

4. dp3 clone will do a 2010 Audi A6 dash via obd, it will takes a while to find code but will do it.

5. w219 works as w211 just flashes dash obd

6. Mercedes class B W246 use direct in OBD digiprog 4.94
7. To read and Save mb w211 2003 cluster eeprom, need to desolder it.
8. Digiprog 3 4.94 clone can do Mercedes E550 2004 via OBD but will put ezs to 9999999..

    A6 OBD told me it was m73 D09.
    A6 M73 OBD gave me the 999999 checksum error.
    The A3 repair 999999 with st41 left me wondering what to do with those two extra cables but AUDI MM 4_99 HC12.pdf sorted that out!
    Both st41 and st48 has wrong colors but with pinout sheets you will do fine!

17. digiprog can do a 02 chevy avalanche, remove the dash and use ST47 with this. Use Tahoe on the menu.
    Won't do the hours though, that has to be done manually with eeprom menu as S95P02.

Note: that is the only way, you can't do it with OBD with a Digiprog. Dash out in 60 seconds, takes all of five minutes to remove the board and solder to it and program it.

18. Audi A4 2010 Work

Audi a4 2007 obd dash read ok write ok/ecu make-it via touran edc16 write 2 times to change.

Golf 6 plus 2010 work ok

19. Mondeo 2010 visteon dash with 9s12 read ok write ok via 4 wires on pcb.

20.  digi can do gmc yukon 2008, you have to disassemble the dash and do by eeprom. Use Hummer H2 2007- 95080 chip, make a backup first.

21. To use correction mileage hyundai I10 to digiprog3, no connection i10 mcs12hy64 to digiprog ....if its 24c08 use plug 1.

I also range rover with same dash, soldering on back of board, no problem, you have to take dash out and solder on back of board. U can use BMW 35080 option.

You can do dash with dash plug.

But first make good Back-up of eep.

But you need ezs too, you can block communication by putting 999999 in dash put it back in the Car ignjtion on and ezs wil take 999999.

Q: Today has arrived my Digiprog3 from Ali. I tried, to connect to my car via OBDII (Seat Leon 1M, year: 2000) but it says with both option (diag, diag bosch, diag ECU): no connection. The cable was connected right, i'm sure.

Yesterday, I tried an Opel Corsa D with my digiprog, it's semms like working.
Today, I removed my Leon's dash, pictures attached.
Now, I'm sure, it's a VDO dash. How can I connect directly to the odometer, with my digiprog?

t's strange. I connected to the Corsa the OBD cable, and read the old KM.

But, the main question is the Leon.

I find on the motherborad, the memory chip: 93C86

If I connect with the clip cable to the 93C86, is there a chance to write that?

53. Q: Mercedes W212 how to change with tacho diag or EZS ??

A: For this car use ezs option!
The facelift model is not possible. so don't try.

If you have digiprog 4.88 you also can do the full color screen of the w212. if you have 4.94 then you can do only black/white screen.
After correction do 'fehlerspeicher' to delete errors in dashboard.
Do 'assist manager' to delete service history.
if it is a diesel engine most times you get dpf error. and the car will drive max80kmh. until you reset dpf.
Remember: if you use the ezs option. digiprog will program 999999 miles in ezs. this way it blocks ezs-tacho synchronization.
it's better to use a canfilter, this way ezs will have old mileage. of you use can filter you must use the 'tacho diag' option.

54 Q: how to work with the service mode?

A: make-it via obd. first time blocked on 0000 but second try it works. Second try I mean disconnect completely en retry, ignition off.remove obd plug put it back ignition on and try.when is ok you will see 0001-0002.....not stopped on 0000.

Q: I have a toyota yaris(2011), and I wanna change the mileage. But when I try to connect the Digiprog with the eeprom, it says "can't find chip".
I'm using connector 1, and keep the chip incircuit.

De chip is a 93c56, SMD chip
What do I have to do?

A: You have to look first wich eeprom on circuit my experience with some toyota that they use a smal 93C46 wich is not in the menu i wil give you an exempel i had to do a corolla verso 2007 in the menu it says if i remember 93c66 ichoose 93c66 i couldnt read "chip not found"i i looked closer it was a smal 93c46 wich is not in the menu of verso avensis i choose another option in the toyota menu with 93c46 i think it was celica and it could read chip the morality of the story look first wich chip itis on the board and from there work with it . good luck

dont remove nothing toyota always read on circuit look if there is an condensator close to the eeprom and shunt the legs. Don't matter toyota or any brand always safer to remove for read/write eeproms

Q: Can digiprog work on this golf 7 dash - any suggestions what is ideal tool for this type of cluster via obd

A: Smelecom can do golf 7 vdo dash but only certain versions. If it's Johnson control then no tool can do

Fail list:

1 Hyundai I10 9S12HY64-use upa usb ...digiprog can’t do it, Digipro can’t read D flash memory , so it cannot read and write this kind of mcu like Hyundai eon,Hyundai i 10 so use UPA USB can do it.

2. Not suport audi A3 2014 dash 8V , obd not connect. And for genuine tool Very hard to do this Car.

3. dont try to do 2010+ volvo with digi, if you are lucky it only wont work, otherwise...

4. - Dont try to use digiprog to read cas it wil end with faillure dead cas, get the r260 red clone it works perfect.if you look in youtube under digprog3 hc 12 or 11 and st 53 you wil see it.

-Works 100% polo 6N 2001 - diagnostic -ST16 - doesn't show old mileage but writes perfect - on cluster display where mileage shows while writing it shows error for about 5sec then check written value on DigiRemember to reset service reminder.
